LG has released the first official information about their new BL40 ‘New Chocolate’ feature phone. With a larger 800 x 345 pixel screen which LG says ideal for surfing the web and viewing websites at fullwidth without any zooming necessary. Although not officially confirmed it is also expected to have a 5 megapixel camera 7.2Mbps HSPA, WiFi and A-GPS.
The fourth handset of the Black Label Series boasts a distinctive 4.0-inch wide screen high-definition LCD with an 800 by 345 pixel resolution for a superb viewing quality. The wide screen breaks away from conventional screen designs with a 21:9 aspect ratio for a panoramic, cinema-like quality and optimal mobile computing experience.
With the enlarged screen, users will experience a surprisingly convenient and efficient mobile environment. Browsing the Internet is made incredibly easy because with 800 pixels at one’s disposal, there is no need to scroll horizontally to read entire web pages. Logitec Japan has introduced the new LHD-EN1400U2, a 1.5 external HDD packed in a simple and slim USB case. The size is only 32 x 183 x 120mm, with automatic power on and off.
Apparently the change of the models will be on the connection ports since there will be only with USB 2.0 port, one FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 port, one eSATA and USB 2.0 port, and another model that will only eSATA port special for computers and laptops that already have this entry on the outside can use these external disks as if they were treated inmates.
There is still no information about pricing or availability of these devices, but are expected to be launched no later than April.

The Nokia N86 carries a price tag of Rs. 27, 359. For this price if you’re just looking for an 8MP camera phone there are better options. However, if you’re an existing Nokia user and are looking to upgrade to a better handset with a better camera then the N86 is a good choice. It doesn’t really offer too much more in the way of media as compared to even an N95 8GB for example except for the battery life and camera which has a larger pixel count and no additional features other than those almost all S60 handsets already have. It’s a good handset but just a little pricey. I believe it would fare a little better were there at least a couple of free N-Gage games tossed in and the handset itself was a little slimmer and lighter.

Sony Ericsson W995 is the company's top-ranking Walkman and its spec sheet is clearly set to justify this label. The Flash-based user interface, which we've praised repeatedly, seems to be only getting better. There are no gaps in the connectivity set and the 3.5 mm audio jack is a long-awaited blessing.
Sony Ericsson W995 not only spares users the agonizing choice between Walkman and Cyber-shot. It has simply harvested all the high-end goodies and leaves nothing else to want. And all that skill is packed in a compact, solid and stylish body.
Now, it's not hard to believe it was all too easy for Sony Ericsson to get carried away. Amid the first ever and best ever hype they somehow overlooked video. Just like Sony Ericsson by the way, and it wouldn't have been a big deal if they didn't make a big deal of it themselves. Why bother put a kickstand when the commitment to great video was never taken seriously? No kickstand can make up for the lack of codec support, inadequate screen resolution and no widescreen aspect ratio.
And still, the poor video is the only major grudge with W995. We just hope it doesn't need to be reminded that the devil's in the details. In all fairness, video should not be make or break for the majority of users, especially when all the rest is up to scratch. It's just that Sony Ericsson W995 will be held to a higher standard. It can't help it, just like it can't help the heavy smartphone fire on the high end of premium all-in-ones.

TriGem USA announced the Averatec 22-inch D1005 all-in-one (AIO) computer. The Averatec D1500 couples a 22-inch widescreen LCD with an Intel Core 2 Duo E5200 2.5GHz processor and 3GB of RAM. The Averatec D1005 is a step up from the company’s usual nettop-style desktops, with a 320GB hard-drive and a slot-loading DVD burner.
There’s also WiFi b/g/n and Intel X4500HD graphics, driving the WXGA display together with outputting via a DVI port. Other connectivity includes six USB 2.0 ports, gigabit ethernet, audio in/out/headphones and a multi-format card reader. Averatec also throw in a digital audio out port.
