LG Chocolate was the best selling LG handset ever, selling over 21 million units worldwide. Now LG has plans to release the second generation LG Chocolate, the BL40 which will be fully unveiled in August.



The BL40 should come to the market with a 21:9 aspect ratio display (Cinema widescreen), which is just being introduced on normal LCD TVs, it seems. Moreover, the display of the LG Chocolate BL40 is reported to feature a 345 x 800 pixel resolution, while boasting more than 3 inches in size.

The device should come to the market sporting a thin form factor, though the phone in itself is also stated to be rather narrow.The handset will feature a 5-megapixel photo snapper, as well as GPRS, UMTS and HSDPA when it comes to its supported connectivity.



Other possible specs of the new LG BL40 Chocolate Black Label Series 4 should also include MMS capabilities, a proprietary operating system from the phone maker, as well as the Obigo Q7.3 browser that comes with full HTML support.
