Samsung India has announced the launch of its flagship series of LCD monitors - Samsung Lavender Series in the Indian market.



The new Lavender series is available in 21.5" and 23" screen sizes offer consumers Complete Display Solutions for their entertainment and business needs. The Lavender Series LCD monitor comes with the Touch of Color (ToC) design and a contrast ratio of 50000:1, a response time of 2 ms; viewing angle of 170/160 and a 16:9 Wide format Panel that is made for multimedia optimized for HD Content .


The Lavender series has a slimmer neck compared to conventional models and has front OSD Touch buttons that emit red lighting from under the panel. Samsung claims that the Lavender series eliminates the need of using non-biodegradable components in manufacturing of exterior panels, making it 100 percent recyclable and environmentally friendly. Also, the Lavender Series consume less than 1W of power in the Power Off Mode, adds Samsung.

According to Samsung, the widescreen format display monitors are fast becoming popular with consumers. The Lavender series of LCD monitors has a slimmer 'neck' compared to conventional models and even has front on-screen display (OSD) touch buttons that emit a red glow from under the panel. The Lavender series is built not built with non-biodegradable components in the manufacture of the exterior panels. The monitors are said to be 100 percent recyclable and environmentally friendly. In keeping with this eco-friendly manufacturing process, the monitors consume less than one watt of power in the 'power off' mode. Just like any other flat panel display, the entire Lavender series is also wall mountable, thereby saving precious workspace.

As we already said, the network monitors can support the networking of about 11 stations and which in turn offeres cost saving option. Users can save upto 70% maintanance cost with this offering. As its functions implies the monitor is highly maintainable, and when it comes to the case of viruses problems, which consequently removes virus in 10 network monitors.

In the B2B market, less than 10 percent of the computing power of a PC (personal computer) is generally being utilized at any given time.

Requiring a one-time automatic upgrade, as many as 11 users can share a single PC for Rs. 10,400 to 11,800 through this Network Monitor.

Sharp Electronics unveils, for the first time worldwide, AQUOS LED, an LCD TV Series that provides the ultimate in picture quality and value, offering consumers the lowest power consumption of any available LCD TV. A new series of LCD TV's that combines Sharp's award-winning AQUOS LCD technology with a Full-Array LED backlight system, the new LE700 AQUOS LED Series delivers unprecedented image quality and energy-efficient, eco-friendly performance. This Full-HD 1080p LCD TV Series, available in 52- (LC-52LE700UN), 46- (LC-46LE700UN), 40- (LC-40E700UN) and 32-inch (LC-32LE700UN) screen class sizes (52 1/32", 45 63/64", 40", and 31 35/64" Diagonal respectively), introduces a newly-developed X-Gen Panel with advanced pixel control for extremely deep black levels.

Superior Picture Quality

The proprietary AQUOS LED System incorporates Sharp's UltraBrilliant LED backlight technology that illuminates the TV to extremely high brightness and contrast levels. The system includes a full array of LEDs evenly dispersed behind the diffuser, resulting in more uniform colors and brightness across the entire screen, as well as improved color purity for the smoothest picture possible. Additionally, this series uses Sharp's proprietary next-generation Full HD 1080p X-Gen LCD panel with 10-bit processing, designed with advanced pixel control to minimize light leakage, producing extremely deep black levels. The X-Gen panel also provides a wider aperture to allow more light to pass through the panel, resulting in higher peak brightness. Eco-Efficient Design

The UltraBrilliant full array LED backlight enables precise light output with higher luminance per watt so less power is needed. Included in the LE700 Series*, AQUOS Net is an internet-based service that gives Sharp AQUOS customers access to personalized information. Currently available through AQUOS Net is content from Weatherbug to check the local forecast, NASDAQ for stock quotes, Accedo Broadband for casual games such as black jack and Sudoku, UCLICK to follow daily comic strips, daily local NAVTEQ Traffic™ reports, AQUOS Gallery, which provides users with beautiful high-resolution 1080p images of scenery and nature, and a variety of web-based content from NBCU's broad portfolio.
